New to the lineup this spring is a simple bench, our introduction to seating. Personally I think this bench best highlights our unique one-piece leg system. Available in standard walnut, hard maple, or cherry top with your choice of leg color. This bench sits at 48″ wide and 18″ tall. Place it in any entry way, hall, foyer, kitchen table, bed end, etc. As with all of our pieces there is no one place it should stand.

Shown at Dwell on Design was a Eucalyptus bench with matching legs. Hand oiled and waxed.

You can create your own wfour design bench for only $799 and add matching legs for +$49 just like with all other items. Have a custom space or dimension you are looking to fill? Back from Dwell on Design!

Dwell on Design was June 22-24 in sunny Los Angeles and I made a point to take a full week to drive back to Eugene, OR and enjoy Southern California and my previous stomping grounds in Lake Tahoe.

Now back, it is great to sit down and share a few new things at wfour design. Below is a picture of the “simple” booth we had at Dwell on Design. Maybe too simple? Next year’s booth planning begins now.

Each day items slowly creeped out further from hiding into the entire space. Forgive the camera phone image quality. There are a few new things shown at the booth. These include a new 48″W bench shown above in Eucalyptus with matching legs; reclaimed barn flooring side tables; white lacquer finish atop a solid poplar cabinet; and natural maple as a new material.

Since we had to part with the XS Sideboard – Four Doors shown above top center I should point out how vibrant the natural maple was when joined with cracked glaze knobs and turquoise legs. The image does not do the piece justice with so many curls in the maple on the drawer fronts and top of cabinet. Glad it has a new home with some really cool folks who will use it for many years.

XS Sideboard Update

We are excited to announce that we can now ship our XS Sideboard via FedEx ground. What does this mean? Well, for starters a lower price! Shipping costs are now only $299/XS Sideboard. Combine that with a lower price to the XS Sideboard itself and you now save over $200!

What else is new? We have added a fourth layout to the XS Sideboard which includes four drawers. This piece works so well as a dresser with deeper drawers we thought why not make it a standard option. Check it out…

March’s Favorite – Custom Side Table + Drawer

With some really fun pieces in March this was a tough one but alas, the Side Table + Drawer is always a favorite. This Custom Side Table + Drawer includes a second “add a drawer” along with gold legs and 3″ black pulls.

Custom Display

There is no better way of showing just how far we can customize a piece to fit your needs than to share this with you…

What started as a combination of our Side Table + Drawer and Two Door became a thin and very open display cabinet.

A single drawer sits atop our leg system with burgundy paint, open sides with three fixed shelves provide plenty of display space, and a unique motif that matches the curved forms found in our leg system gives this piece a very custom aesthetic. This piece is made of solid Cherry and hand oiled.

February’s Favorite – Custom Two Door

A piece after my own heart…

Based upon wfour design’s original Two Door, this Two Door piece fills a much larger space proportioned well with custom shutter doors, fixed shelf, adjustable shelf, custom pulls, and custom 18″ legs.

We can call this Re-inspiring. Maybe you will see this shape again soon in a slightly new line coming out March 1, 2011?
